INTERVIEW
With such a demanding schedule, how do you carve out time for yourself? What’s something you love doing when it’s just about relaxing and recharging?
- I always try to make sure I have time for myself to recharge when I’m filming for my mental health, it gives me more energy when it comes to performing. When I was shooting in Budapest, relaxing and recharging mainly consisted of me playing guitar, hanging out with my nan and skateboarding with my castmate, Faoileann, and our skate teacher, Lajos.
Do you have any daily rituals or self-care practices that help keep you grounded amidst all the chaos of being in the spotlight?
- I honestly don’t. I just try to take each day as it comes.
What’s the most challenging role you’ve ever taken on, and how did it push you as an actor?
- It has to be Lila. The role just challenged me to tackle her story head on. Before I started, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it justice, and that was a bit scary.

What is your ultimate favourite movie? And do you watch any series what are your favourite ones currently?
- At the moment, my favourite movie is “I Saw the TV Glow”, and currently I’m watching the most recent series of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK”, which I love.
With such a demanding schedule, how do you carve out time for yourself? What’s something you love doing when it’s just about relaxing and recharging?

Being constantly in the public eye can be challenging. How do you protect your mental well-being, and what advice would you give to other young talents about staying true to themselves?
- I mean, at this point I’m not really sure I have any advice. I’m still figuring it all out too. But I do think staying true to yourself is important. It’s something I’m working on every day and it can be especially difficult doing that in an industry that you feel expects you to have a certain image.

Who is your one celebrity actor you would die for to meet, why?
- I would love to meet Zendaya and just tell her how incredible I think she is as an actor. She really inspired me when I was younger, and still continues to. She’s so brilliant at her craft and I’m always excited to see what she’s doing.
When you’re not working, what’s one thing that really brings you joy or makes you feel like you’re totally in your element?
- I like writing music, mainly with my guitar, and I really enjoy swimming, even though I’m not the best at it.
As someone who’s already achieved so much at a young age, what advice would you give to other aspiring actors who are trying to break into the industry?
- I don’t know if I have any solid advice because I don’t think I had a specific plan to get to where I am today. What I would say is please don’t give up. This industry is so hard to break into, but it needs more young and diverse voices. I know how much rejection sucks, but it just takes one yes.
What’s been the most surprising thing about acting that no one told you before you started?
- I was surprised with the amount of friends I’d make from all different backgrounds and of a variety of ages.

Looking back, is there anything you wish you had known when you were starting out?
- I think it would just be to enjoy it all even more than I have. And I really have been. The main thing for me would be to tell my past self to just soak it all in more often because I do really miss a lot of the projects that I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of.
Can you share a funny or unexpected moment from a set that’s stayed with you over the years?
- A lot of the cast of Dune: Prophecy started doing TikTok dances in full costume and sharing them on the group chat. I found that quite funny. Emily in the full truth sayer attire, and Jade in her acolyte outfit dancing to TikTok sounds and fully going for it was just incredible to witness.
What do you have in common with the character Lila you play in Dune? Are you similar?
- I think we’re both quite loyal to the things we care about. Lila values The Sisterhood above anything and I can see myself making similar choices in her situation.
How do you find it on the set of Dune? What are the dynamics? Is there any time for fun, pranks is there anything that you could share with us?
- I think the TikTok dances really summed it up. The set was so much fun. I got along so well with all the cast and crew I worked with. It felt so welcoming, and even as the youngest in the ensemble, I felt very respected by my castmates as an actor.
